Myerscough & Bilsborrow Parish Council is looking to appoint a Parish Clerk, (experience preferred, however, training can be given) from November 2022, to assist councillors in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, and in working to achieve maintenance and improvement of facilities that matter to residents.  The Council’s work is varied and interesting, involving liaison with residents, City and County Councillors and a range of other agencies.

The ideal candidate will be well organised, computer literate, familiar with social media and able to manage the Parish Council Website. They will either hold, or be working towards, the CiLCA qualification.

The post will be home based, for 6 hours a week.  The starting salary will be dependent on qualification and experience.

Myerscough & Bilsborrow Parish is a Parish in the district of Wyre. The Parish Council has 9 councillors.  The Council meets on the Third Thursday of every other month, 6.30pm.  Meetings take place at St Hilda’s Church meeting room.
