Ellel Parish Council – Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer

Ellel Parish Council is looking to recruit an experienced Parish Clerk from October 1st, to assist councillors in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, and in working to achieve maintenance and improvement of facilities that matter to residents.  The Council’s work is varied and interesting, involving liaison with residents, City and County Councillors and a range of other agencies.

The ideal candidate will need to be well organised, computer literate, familiar with social media and able to manage the Parish Council Website. They will either hold, or be working towards, the CiLCA qualification.

The post will be mainly home based, for 16 hours a week.  The starting salary will be dependent on qualification and experience.

Ellel Parish is a parish in the district of Lancaster. The Parish Council has 9 councillors.  The council meets on the second Monday of each month, except for August, usually at 7.pm.  Meetings take place either at Ellel Recreation Rooms or Dolphinholme Village Hall.
