Training for local councils
Lancashire & Merseyside County Training Partnership
The County Training Partnership members are LALC, Lancashire County Council and the Society of Local Council Clerks. The aim of the Partnership is to develop a sustainable training programme throughout Lancashire and Merseyside and to ensure that careful budgeting will enable training courses to be sustained in the long term without detriment to either small or large councils.
The Partnership provides training for Clerks and Councillors. Several courses are held during the year and training can also be brought to individual councils. Some comments from recent courses;
